Oh! Watched the moulding plane first! Thanks to you and Frank.
Interesting to see he adapts his tool choice, like the metal planes, to what is easier to teach. I have seen another version where he cuts dovetails. There he uses a special bowsaw blade that is twisted in the middle. The first half of the blade allowed him to cut the verticals, the second half allowed him to follow through like you would with a fretsaw to cut the bottoms. Here that’s all done with chisels. Yeah, I’ve never seen him do his dovetails like this either…very interesting variation. It goes to show that there are many ways to do the same thing. Thanks for your comment!
