It seems like tools come to me in threes. I can look for a tool for years and if I find one, it almost never fails that three will come my way. I have way more than three drawknives but three have come my way in the last couple of weeks and drawknives are one of my favorite tool types. Here are a few photos of an Essex drawknife I recently worked on. The handles were slightly loose, not bad but irritating, and there were some nicks in the blade that required some reshaping before sharpening. The knife is now a real good user and has been stored (with a blade protector) with it’s many cousins.
Saving one tool at a time.

    Have fun.
