    <p style=”text-align: left;”>Just received my first bevel up hand planes from Veritas and was unsure if you sharpen the toothed blade. I haven’t been able to find any information on it.</p>

    Yes, sharpen it just like any plane iron. You will be able to tell when it needs to be sharpening. I use the tooth ironed jack instead of a scrub plane. I think it works faster.

    What is suggested, low angle? 25 degrees?

    I believe the Veritas tooth blade is 38*. I have Lie nielsen, I think mine is 35*. I would match the original bevel. It isn’t as critical on a tooth blade. You are using it to do rough work.
