Thanks. Do you have that youtube link? If you paste it into a response, the forum will embed it directly. Cheers!

Nice work! That looks great. I need to powder coat a few old tools, so thanks for sharing that link.

I had an old #80 sitting around that I didn’t know what to do with until I found a few Paul Seller’s blog posts and videos: https://paulsellers.com/2013/07/cabinet-scrapers-answering-whats-needed-in-real-woodworking-realms/ Can’t live without it now!

I’ve had great luck on ebay searching for such tools.

If you’re not into ebay, I like http://hyperkitten.com/tools/ForSale/Tools_FS.php, but he only updates the listings once a month, and the tools that are listed are pretty different each month.

Jim Bode tools also appears to have a lot of nice stuff: http://www.jimbodetools.com/Planes-c3/ I’ve never bought from him, so can’t comment on the experience.

    Good luck!

I’ve had great luck with Craigslist in the past. As long as you do your due diligence to protect yourself, you’ll be fine. Accept cash-only and, if you’re worried about it, meet the buyer offsite away from your home. Craigslist does a great job of hiding your email address, as well, but I find it handy when a cell phone is listed so I can communicate via text message with a buyer or seller.
